Fall Fun at Power's Farm Market

What a perfect fall day it is today. Logan and I ventured out to Power's Farm Market. Power's is a family owned business opened in the 1960s as a truck stand and has grown into a thriving farm market with something for everyone for every season.

The best season at Power's? FALL!!! Haunted hayrides, petting zoo, fresh donuts and cider, the world's largest teepees (yes, true) and pumpkins, pumpkins and more pumpkins.

Logan was entranced by the emergence of the tractor pulled haunted hayride. I think it freaked him out because he DID NOT want to go on it. Which was good, because they charge $4.75/person...ouch! Although, not as bad as $6/person on the weekends.

The "World's Largest Teepees". WAY COOL! Upon entrance, the first teepee cavern has jack-o-lanterns the whole way up to the top. The second teepee cavern is decorated with flying skeletons, ghosts, bats and plays spooky music. Logan stared at the entrance and took a couple passes outside of it for about twenty minutes, and finally caved (LOL, no pun intended) in and checked it out. Once he was in, that was it...he didn't want to come out. I literally had to drag him out.

His pumpkin haul...

One for Logan and one for Lauren that we'll place later this week. We also got a small white pumpkin. They have some really cool, different looking pumpkins.

  1. If you go...Power's Farm Market is open daily 8:30am-6:30pm, Sundays until 5:30pm and is located at 161 Marsh Road, Pittsford, just around the corner from the retro Hoselton and Wegmans on 31F. If you can, I highly recommend you go during the week and avoid the crowd. It can get pretty busy on the weekends.
